Amy-Nicole
FOUNDER, QUALIFIED PILATES INSTRUCTOR & MENTAL HEALTH WORKER
Focus Area:
Biomechanics • Fascia‑focused mobility • Spine and hip health • Dynamic neuromuscular stretching • Pre/Post Natal • Auto Immune
Amy‑Nicole’s approach to movement is shaped by lived experience — of pain, of rebuilding, and of learning to feel safe in her body again. After many years of severe lumbar spine issues and being scheduled for neurosurgery and spinal fusion, she committed to a full year of intensive 1:1 physiotherapy. Through this process she learned her biomechanics deeply, retrained her stabilising system, and slowly re‑entered movement through clinical Pilates before progressing to group reformer classes. Her rehabilitation was transformative. She returned to the activities she loved and discovered a passion for helping others rebuild strength, confidence, and trust in their bodies. Living with an autoimmune condition that affects her spine and pelvis, she understands the realities of pain, fatigue, and the emotional load that can come with long‑term health challenges. With qualifications in Pilates, Safe Exercise Strategies for Injury Prevention, Biomechanics for Strength and Conditioning Training, Stretching and recovery for optimal performance, Community Services, psychology, and completed internationally recognised pre‑ and post‑natal education through Girls Gone Strong. Her teaching style is grounded, invitational, and somatically aware — designed for people who need clarity, gentleness, and a space where they feel genuinely supported. VIBE was created from this blend of science, lived experience, and compassion — a place where people can move without pressure, reconnect with their bodies, and feel safe to grow at their own pace.
